How much does it cost to use The NutExchange?

There are no costs to register, view listings, list a bid-to-buy or list an offer-to-sell. You can list as frequently as you’d like, or as seldom as you’d like. There are no activation fees, deactivation fees, inactivity fees, or hidden fees whatsoever.

The NutExchange only charges a 0.5% commission fee – to be paid by the seller – when both a buyer and seller agree to a transaction. This is the only cost associated with using The NutExchange.

How much experience does The NutExchange staff have in this industry?

We have a great deal of experience in the nut industry. The NutExchange is a subsidiary of Global Bottomline, LLC – one of the largest, most successful nut brokerage companies in the world. We are very intimate with the dynamics of the industry and your products.

How many registered users are on The NutExchange?

The NutExchange has hundreds of users involved in every segment of the nut industry – both domestic and international. We are growing at an astronomical rate, adding new users every single day.

I am a small company. Is The NutExchange right for me?

Absolutely. There is no limit to how much or how little you can buy or sell on our site. In the few minutes it takes to create a listing, you will instantly expand your business to a global level, opening doors for your business that you never knew existed.

Does The NutExchange help manage my transaction?

The NutExchange is designed and built to connect buyers with quality suppliers in a confidential manner. In order to maintain our industry-lowest commission fee, we do not directly manage transactions. Once each party’s contact information is revealed, you will progress just as you would with a normal transaction.

We do, however, provide users with contact information for reputable companies in our Industry Services page.

I can see the use of The NutExchange for first-time transactions, but why wouldn’t I just call the same company for future business?

Why limit yourself to doing business with the same few companies? The NutExchange will continuously put your offerings in front of product-specific buyers and sellers that, otherwise, you may never know existed. The more people that see your listings, the better chance of you getting the best deal.

The NutExchange is automated, reliable, and amazingly efficient. These attributes allow you to be more productive and powerful.

If I see a listing for a large quantity, is it possible to buy a smaller portion of that amount?

Yes. If the seller has chosen to accept counter offers on their listing, you may make a counter offer for a smaller amount. Whether or not that counter offer is accepted is totally dependent upon the seller.

As I am creating a listing, I’ve noticed that my company requires additional documentation and/or payment terms than what is listed. How do I add my specific terms?

The NutExchange was designed to allow YOU to buy and sell on YOUR terms. During the listing process, you’ll notice empty textboxes below the default options. You can add as many of your specific terms in these textboxes as you’d like. These terms will appear on both your listing and the email notification sent out to product-specific buyers or sellers.

What if a buyer backs out on our agreement? Do I get my commission payment back?

A transaction is complete when a buyer and seller mutually agree to the terms. At this point, the 0.5% seller’s fee is due, and is not subject to refund.

I don’t want to ship my product over a certain distance. How do I make this known?

In the empty textboxes located throughout the listing process, we suggest you enter a phrase such as “Final sale dependent upon buyer location”.

I forgot my password. What do I need to do?

On the login page, there is a blue link entitled “Forgot Password?” – click on this link, enter your username and email address, and an email will be sent to you providing instructions on how to reset your password.

For your safety, The NutExchange is an extremely secure site and does not have any access to your password.
